An only child born to Indian doctor parents, who was served up Poha (flattened rice) and practicality for breakfast, packed his impossible dreams in the trunk of his toy car. Vroom, he made the car zoom across the table as the speed breakers of *tsk tsk* tried to slow it down, but it never did.
When the hunger to ‘make it’ drives you, and you find yourself on a table that serves up culture, stories and helps shape narratives, you tend to fill up your plate.
And I did.
